What Is The Veteran’s Pilot Program

Our Veterans Pilot Program is designed to provide Veterans of our Armed Forces with a fully accredited service dog with little to no cost out-of-pocket. We partner with EasterSeals of Greater Houston to help coordinate and cover the costs of a service dog, as a thank you for serving our country so nobly.

How it Works

The program is open to veterans. An application with a form signed by a doctor or psychologist must be submitted prior to taking public access level courses

Our Program can train dogs to assist with mental and physical disabilities.

After an initial evaluation, you will start online classes and we will  train with you and your dog in public places in the MSD trainer’s locations. Once assigned goals are met we train on your side of town
to work with you and your service dog to work, restaurants, shopping, school, church, etc. We help properly educate your friends and family as we train with you and your service dog. If you have other animals, we will  to work with them too.

All dogs, regardless of their starting age or training will need at a minimum: an initial evaluation and planning session with a senior trainer, an application, and a doctor’s letter.
