Background
Carter is autistic and has always tended to run in stressful situations, particularly in loud and crowded areas. Milo and Carter are tethered together when they are out and about and Milo helps Carter by distracting him and keeping him occupied, comfortable, and safe in public settings. Carter has not run a single time since Milo came to live with him in 2017.
