I walked to the top of a hill today to talk
to Verizon Wireless to see if I am charged for roaming here
and they said, "Yes, you are. And the rate is 69¢
per minute." Phone was turned off! "What about Broadband?"
I asked. That took about an hour, but it seems I can use it
at no extra cost, but it is soooo slow in the rain forest.
So, I may fall behind on this Journal.
The scenes made walking up the hill worth it.
An added bonus was that my internet connection worked much
faster up there.
