What's Been Happening?

Danny

Remembering Danny

Because of Danny's passing Robert and Nate have been sponsored. Danny was a working man that saved his money for his future,
believing that he may have to move into an assisted living facility someday, and he did not want to be a burden on his family.

I would like to think that Danny would be happy with what his money
has done to help another young man like Robert have a service dog
that helps with his independence and security. God bless you, Danny.

Adam Wayne turns two years old!

Sporting his 'big-boy beard' Adam turned two years old on 09- 30-09.

He has been in training all his life for service dog work, and he will be ready soon to be placed with a Recipient. We do not have anyone chosen for him at this time, but we are taking applications.
He passed his hips and elbows x-rays, and he is sound and healthy. Adam will be a wonderful and caring Service Dog for the right Recipient. and we are very proud of him and his abilities.

Adam was our first Labradoodle donated by Lake Country.

Robert Eaton II and Nate celebrate 1 Year Together!

Robert Eaton II is a student, band director and musician who lives
in San Marcos, Texas. In 2006, he underwent brain surgery for a congenital condition. There were complications with the surgery
that left him completely paralyzed on his right side.

Robert is in a wheelchair for the most part and in need of assistance
with everyday things which Nate provides for him. They are the perfect pair in many ways. Robert's Mom, Debbie, says with a smile, she has gained a four legged Grandson with a personality just like her son.
We at MSD could not be happier for Nate's family.

Doris & Scotty Rozas of Lake Charles, LA, donated a 2001 Subaru to us at My Service Dog, Inc, and it really saved us!

We were breaking down in our old car at the time so the car donation could not have come at a better time. We have had
a few trips to the mechanics but nothing like before.

It is selfless acts like this one that keeps us going out here.
We chose Nicholas's middle name "Scott" after Scotty.
Thank you, Doris and Scotty!
